For this challenge, I looked hard and finally found this shot taken in June 2013 of Angel’s Window, a natural arch at Point Royal on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
There is an easy trail that allows you to walk to the top of the arch and have an amazing view of the Grand Canyon.
Fabulous shot!

Great photo! I’ll have to check out the north rim, as i’ve always gone to the south rim.

You will enjoy the North Rim. Much less crowded, many scenic views and hiking trails. Don’t forget to stop by Jacob Lake for some cookies.

Thanks, will remember that. Nov 2012 I drove from St. George Utah to Sedona and went via the Grand Canyon because i was looking for the trailhead for Red mountain, outside of Flagstaff.
I was nauseous the entire drive, kept stopping for Ginger ale and soda crackers, but still stopped at several look outs at the South rim to take pictures and bask in the energy.
I’ve never hiked down as with my present lung challenges i don’t know about making it back up, but perhaps i’ll hike down and that a burro back up some time. I had an offer to do a long CO river trip one time, but it just felt too challenging for me at the time.
