You have probably observed that many of my photos are of about rocks and the harsh, and sometimes twisted, landscape where they tend to be found. Tonight I am going to post a much softer photo, one of the moon rising above frail evening clouds. There are two versions, color and monochrome. Let me know which one you like.

Thanks for stopping by Jerry. I converted the original photo to monochrome to see what it would look like, but color is the preferred choice.

Yes! Now I can see that the original monochrome version was lacking in that “pop” factor. It had too much gray. This new version makes a more eerie statement. I can almost hear the coyotes calling. Maybe it’s just that I am in Arizona for the winter, but I’m expecting if the photo were cropped lower, there would be saguaro cacti visible. š
