While I write this, it is still snowing outside, as it has been for the past seven hours. That definitely calls for some color therapy, and I dug up the following shots of some plumeria, or frangipani, flowers that I saw during an afternoon drive in Melbourne, FL two years ago.

Thanks Sue. I am going to head out to clear the snow that fell yesterday. It’s not too bad, only about two inches.

Is this winter setting records for snowfall where you are?

No record yet, but the season is not over. We are supposed to get more tomorrow night. So far the record snowfall is for 1995-1996. That year we got 28 inches in one day. It took our family, two parents and two kids, two days to clear our driveway, because the old snowblower quit working! The top of the snow had turned to ice.

Yikes! Here’s hoping there are no records like that to be broken.
