Once in a while, I encounter a turtle during my walks or drives around the marshes. Here are those that I met this year.
Baby turtle at Abbott Marshlands
Terrapin crossing the road at Edwin B Forsythe Wildlife Refuge. Green marking on top of its shell was probably done by park rangers.

The natural colour of the turtle in the 1st image makes it look so much like its surroundings, I had to look hard to see him. When kayaking I often see turtles out sunning themselves like your last image. Wonderful captures.

Lovely turtles Neihtn – we are a loggerhead nesting area here on Kiawah and I love being there when the nests hatch and the babies make their way to the water. It’s a little miracle every time 😌
