Point Bonita Lighthouse is on the San Francisco Bay, near the Golden Gate Bridge.

Point Bonita Lighthouse is on the San Francisco Bay, near the Golden Gate Bridge.
These really are wonderful images. Is there a reason that lighthouses are painted in different designs and colors?

Excellent question! Different colors and designs help mariners identify lighthouses, at least during the day, so that they have an idea of where they are at sea. Thanks for stopping by, Sue.

I love lighthouses! But so far I only see two 😀 😀 Great photos and they are seemed in very good condition!

Indah, perhaps the images are too large. There should be 6 in all, or seven including the banner.

I have a wonderful picture in my mind of the painters putting up the masking tape for the diagonals on the Cape Hatteras, Hien … {grin}
