More odds and ends, photos that did not make it to this blog during the past year. I took all of the following photos at the Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
Finally, a flower I could not identify. If you know what it is please tell me in a comment.
Lovely ospreys pictures! I particularly liked the juveniles!

Any possibility of that strange flower’s being some kind of milkweed, Hien …?

M-R, I looked at a bunch of photos of milkweed plants but did not see anything similar. Thanks anyway!

Thank you, Amy! Would you happen what that plant/flower is?

I honestly couldn’t tell you. I’m one of those flower photographer’s who doesn’t identify most of what she captures, only knowing how moving and beautiful they are. If you want, make up a name that you think fits. (smile) Love, Amy

Great capture of these osprey. The first one is lovely, and the osprey taking off is an awesome shot! This wildflower is unusual, but so beautiful. 🙂

Thanks Amy. That osprey taking off: I watched it for some time and was just about to start my car again when it took off. I managed to get a couple of quick shots, but I wish I had a longer and better lens.

All of these photos are lovely, Hien. I like the osprey shots a lot, especially the first one of the siblings looking at each other.
