The House Finch is the other red bird next to the male Northern Cardinal. Yesterday one of them posed for photographs.

I don’t know why this picture makes me smile so much haha the bird looks like it’s within a moment where it’s uncertain of whether or not it’s being watched, and he’s just about realizing he is as you take the picture
