Spring has finally arrived in our area. The magnolias have started to bloom and daffodils flaunt their bright yellow and gold around the yard, daring winter to come back. This morning dew covered all the flowers as shown in the following photos.
Daffodil still trying to open in the morning sun.
Daffodils completely covered with dew.
Magnolia Soulangiana in bloom. This photo was actually taken the previous afternoon.
Butterly Magonolia: it won’t fully open for several more days. The tree is the last one to bloom.

I had never seen a magnolia tree with pink blossoms.Presumably,Magnolia Soulangiana is a crossed species.Interesting indeed, dear Hien!

Pink magnolias are very common in the US. White and yellow magnolias are more rare. Thank you Doda!

Quite the opposite, here we get only white.Seemingly,it has to do with the climate.

This is about the only time of the year when I use the macro lens. Perhaps I should do more, but with birds there is no point. They are always too far away. Happy shooting!
