Branch Brook is a park in Newark, NJ which boasts more cherry trees than Washington, DC. It has over 4,000 trees and more are being planted to bring the total to 5,000. Last week, on the last day of its Cherry Blossoms festival, I went there. The morning started out cloudy with a little bit of rain, which kept many people away. However, the sun eventually made an appearance, and everything brightened up.

Beautifully captured! We saw cherry blossoms for the first time a couple of years ago, and now that we’re back in India, it’s going to be a while before we see them again. 🙂 Your photos brought back great memories. Regards.

Looks like it! I love to wander on paths out in nature. Living in a city now for over a year has had its challenges as I thrive more when I can get out away from civilization and hike or walk for miles.
