In May of this year, we had 25 days without rain, a record for our area. There was talk about drought, water shortage and what not. Even the flower plants were not doing as well as in previous years, and peonies were late. Then yesterday the rain came, lots of it. During a brief lull, I ran out and took pictures of peonies and roses covered with rain drops.
