Today was a good day as blue skies streaked with clouds made an excellent background for photography. We left Torrey, UT to go to Green River, UT our base for visiting Arches National Park. During the drive we saw castles and goblins.
Goblin Valley State Park north of Hanksville, UT is a very interesting and fun place, especially for children. It has thousands of eroded sandstone formations which look like goblins with their grotesque or oddly shaped forms. Here are only two samples.
We went to Arches National Park and I drove directly to the parking lot at Delicate Arch. We hiked 1.5 miles uphill to be at the foot of the arch at sunset.

Wow, these are so amazing views. Arizona and Utah is full of cliff surprises. Are the goblins solely made by Mother Nature?
