The weather has been atrocious throughout the land: snowstorms, torrential rains, flood, mudslides, plunging and bone-chilling temperatures, fast walks or runs from the car to the house or the office. However, the following photos taken last April are what we can look forward to in a few short months. It is allowed to dream of Spring, isn’t it?

It’s just been mild and rainy in the UK. Spring flowers are coming too early but next week we may well be getting colder so the early Spring flowers may die 😦

A cherry tree near our house bloomed two weeks ago. The flowers were small, and they died a few days later when temperatures went plunging. Thank you Elle!

Surprisingly we still haven’t had a winter to speak of – temps go from 40’s to 50’s, but there is a change coming that is to bring some wintry precipitation. Spring really is right around the corner here – another couple of weeks maybe!!

Beautiful photos, Hien. It’s snowing outside. The day before yesterday, I told my neighbor that I wish someone would make a snowman. Yesterday morning, I saw it between my neighbor’s and our house. I was so happy. I guess I won’t dream of spring for another week or so. Ha.
