Yesterday, without knowing about this week’s photo challenge (https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/half-light/) I had shot the following pictures of a PJM Rhododendron bush that was starting to flower. The sun was very low on the horizon and only tiny rays of light managed to get through the branches.

Really delicate, great images Hien! Really love the way you’ve used the light. Especially the second image really worked out well imho 🙂
Have a nice weekend!

Light never ceases to amaze me, and you have a couple great examples why right here. Wonderful shots.

Like anything, too much or too little light creates problems for photographers, even with digital cameras as sophisticated as they are nowadays. There is still a lot that I still have to learn to use it properly, but thank you, Randall!

I did not see both views, Neihtn, but I have now. I LOVE them both. One of my favorite times to shoot is twilight or the time when the sun is very low on the horizon. You can get some pretty special effects with lighting while shooting in this environment. 🙂 ❤
