The cold at the beginning of this month killed many of our flowers. Ninety percent of the Magnolias are now crumpled brown. At least half of the Bleeding Hearts are wilting, and I thought they were cold resistant! This afternoon, right after coming home, I grabbed my camera and walked around to find flowers to photograph. The three kinds of flowers shown below were surprisingly alive and full of energy

What a shame – yes untimely frost has killed some of our buds and there was a light frost last night but still the garden has come to life

It’s a shame that the cold killed most of the magnolia blossoms, but you did an fine job of photographing these flowers, I loved them all!
