We are having an unusual Spring, with wild fluctuations in temperature, too much rain, lots of wind. In our yard, weeds look like they love it, I cannot keep up with them. After an auspicious start, peonies wilted or even rotted. Only roses and clematises are still looking good, as seen in the following photos I just took this afternoon.

Despite the bad weather conditions you took some fabulous photos Hien! The red rose is really brilliant and the blue Clematis is a real beauty!Do you ever grow tea roses?Funny weather patterns worldwide, with a very erratic disposition.

Thanks Doda! Tea roses take a lot of work to maintain, and I probably tried planting some years ago, but they did not survive.

Thanks John. I complain about the weather, but you are living in 100 degree temperatures!

I complain too but it is a nice dry 100 here, no humidity, which makes it much more bearable. Thankfully I’m not in one of the areas where the temperatures go well above a 100! This even feels better than one of the 90 degree days back east with the high Humiditys, so I won’t complain too loud 🙂

Ahh, what a nice group of flowers!! I think the last one is very interesting and I love the purples and yellows against each other. It is always soothing to look at pretty flowers!!

Thank you so much Judy! Life would be very drab indeed without flowers.

They are beautiful! I didn’t know the weather is so rough to flowers in your part of the world.

Thanks Amy! I think the ups and downs of the temperature, and too much rain has not helped.

These all belong on a Hallmark card Hien, fantastic. While it is hard not to admire all these photos (and flowers), your final shot of the exposed Clematis is quite special ~ a perfect way to end this post.

That’s pretty handy, you have a green thumb to grow beautiful flowers to photograph so well. Sorry about the peonies though it has been a rough year for flowers.

Thank you Jerry. Some of the flowers were planted more than 20 years ago. Nature took care of most!
