I have not participated in the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for a while, but here are my entries for this one which is titled “Curve.”
https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/curve/
I was too eager yesterday and went out to the lotus pond near our house to photograph lotus flowers. It was too early in the season, and there was no flower to be seen, only green leaves and stems, and lots of curves.
Love the picture of the water on the leaf. Truly pure nature.

Thank you for commenting Tiny! Too often we walk by these tiny treasures of nature without giving them a second look.

Such a beauty! Reminds me of my youth when I was spending much more time outdoors than now 🙂

Thank you Inese. Aren’t you still very much an outdoor person?

Not as much. I get out to the wild very seldom.

I love the rain water on the leaf, but they’re both great photos for the challenge!

Thanks Jerry! Do you see lotus plants and flowers during your hikes?

I’ve had a similar fascination with lily pads on still water with water droplets, damselflies, etc. as a focal point …a good subject, as you have demonstrated!

Love the rain drop on the leaf, great curves. I was kayaking on the river yesterday and the white waterlilies are just coming into bloom here in Ontario, the yellow ones have been in bloom for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for stopping by and commenting. I think waterlilies normally bloom earlier than lotuses.

I guess in Canada, we only see waterlilies.
