Cee’s Black and White challenge, Trees, is at this link: https://ceenphotography.com/2016/08/24/cees-black-white-photo-challenge-trees-2/
I took the following photos at Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest near the town of Bishop, CA. These trees are said to have lived for several thousand years, some over 4,000 years, at elevations of about 10,000 ft (3,300 m) and above.

Amazing photos you are as skilled in the black and white medium as you are with colour on your flowers.

Thank you for your kind comment! I usually like colors, but once in a while a scene is better rendered in B&W.

Thanks Sue. You are right about those trees being art, created over several thousand years.

Oh wow Hien you out did yourself with this challenge. The trees are magnificent specimens, amazing trunks and lines – all showing the strength of the structures. And in B&W, the best way to show them off.
