Somehow the following photo reminded me of the story of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, who became famous 47 years ago when the book by the same name was an instant best-seller in 1970. Do people still read it now?

I read the book while still in high school, I loved it then, but I imagine that it’s quite dated now and not very popular. Great photo of the gull, I can see why it reminded you of the book!

I think I had his book once. I was in Hong Kong at that time. I came to US in 1977. Probably most of the books got left behind. His book gave me great impression!
