A major snowstorm is supposed to dump from 8 to 12 inches of snow in our area tomorrow. It was quite warm this evening, around 60°F (15 °C), and when I went out there was a bright moon in the sky. Dark clouds flew by and covered it from time to time, but only a few minutes wait allowed me to take the following shot.
I hear you guys are getting slammed with snow! Beautiful moon. I bet the moonlight on the snow will make it all worthwhile.

Thanks Carol. It did not turn out too bad. Where we live most of it started as rain, followed by a small amount of snow. The roads were slippery, but schools and offices were closed.

Beautiful moon capture, Hien! I noticed how bright the moon was at sunset also and took photos as well. I still need to download them, lol, going to do that right now see if I was successful also! 🙂

Thanks Jerry. You don’t get to see either the moon or the sun!

Lovely photo. I don’t have the professional camera you have and have never been able to take a decent photo of the moon. Yours is magical! Take care during the storm.

Thanks Katelon. For photographing the moon, you need a telephoto lens, and a tripod would also be good to have.

Beautiful picture! Fortunately we are likely to escape with only two hours of snow showers early tomorrow morning. Dung and Ngoc

Thank you! You are lucky that the storm only glanced by you. Here almost everything is going to be closed tomorrow.
