Geese form beautiful skeins when they fly, and capturing them in flight is irresistible to most photographers. A few days ago, I was fortunate enough to see both Snow Geese and Canada Geese in V formation heading along on their Spring migration paths.

It’s a little sad to see them leaving us and heading back north for the spring/summer, but I do love seeing thousands and thousands heading across the skies in flying formations! 🙂

Beautiful pictures! Now I know the difference between Canadian geese which make their home on my golf courses and Snow geese. Dung

Thank you! One of our neighbors has a flock of about 50 Canada Geese on their lawn. They are there almost every day and make a big noise when they fly up as I come near them while walking my dog.
