Some Snow Geese are mostly dark, with a little white on them.

Interesting, and well done – I haven’t seen the dark morph Snow geese. There are huge flocks of them well north of here, just off the roads, but I confess I have not looked carefully at individual birds. I should.

Beautiful shots! This time last year my husband and I stopped at a local lake and came upon what was estimated to be over 200,000 migrating snow geese. It was a sight I’ll never forget.
