Summer would not be the same without Hummingbirds. The only kind that comes to our backyard feeder is the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Once the feeder is up, they magically show up, males and females separately. Here are some pictures of a male that monoplized the feeder for a while today.

I am terrible, lol, I have several dozen photos of Bella and the chicks doing it at the nest platform. Their position setup is hilarious just before the you-know-what!

Most of the time I press the shutter unsure how the image would come out. These guys fly fast and they rarely hold still. Thanks Irene!
