The other day several fawns came to frolic and lounge in our backyard. There were as many as six of them! Deer is quite destructive in our area, but I couldn’t resist taking the following shots.
Delightful. I love this third image in particular. I like the contrast of their patterned coats with the green grass. It must be lovely to watch animals like these in your back yard.
destructive, on this opposite side of the ocean deers must be saved from destruction!

Nicely captures images of the deer and I understand there can always be too much of a good thing, beautiful or not!

Thank you Emma! It is nice indeed to watch them when they are still fawns.

They are sweet but you’re right, destructive and carriers of ticks with lyme disease.

That reminds me that one of our two dogs was diagnosed this year with Lyme disease.

The vet gave him a shot and some medicines, and he’s much better now. Thank you!

Who can resist photos of Bambi? 🙂 Their cinnamon pelts are lovely against the verdantly green background.

They’re so cute, and you’re lucky to have them in your yard, despite their appetites for flowering plants.

Not sure about luck, Jerry. Deer have cost a lot of money to all of us in this neighborhood, and there are more of them with each passing year.

They are even cuter when smaller, but I didn’t get their picture then, mainly because of the rain.
