Several young Bald Eagles were flying around a small island in the middle of the marsh. Some attempted to catch a fish but failed.
The one above landed on the island where a mature Bald Eagle was watching everything.
For several minutes the older Bald Eagle seemed to be calling to the new arrival.
After the young one landed and stood to the side, the mature Bald Eagle kept calling, perhaps telling the younger one to fly again and go catch some fish.
Finally the younger Bald Eagle had to take off again.
Such a stunning bird .. you have captured him beautifully 🙂

It’s great to see the there are now so many eagles around that we can see how they interact with each other, as in your wonderful photos showing us what you were able to see!

That did not last! I came back yesterday and there was no eagle around, probably because a deer hunt was going on. I heard gun shots now and then.

That eagle was acting like a coach, yelling at every eagle. But I don’t know why the young one just sitting there was left alone.

Such majestic creatures. The youngster reminds me of a golden eagle.

You are right! Until they get their white bald pate, at the age of 5, they look like golden eagles.
