I prefer this pattern to the early warmth to lure out the blossoms followed by a killing frost.

You have a point there. In some years we have lost all our Magnolia flowers due to a sudden late frost.

Yes, that is it exactly. So sad when that happens, the spectacle is cut off for that season. NO recovery possible.

Such luscious colors. Our spring has been on again off again out here, so some blooming seems delayed. Perhaps to develop a bit of patience? 😉

It will be very soon. The bulb plants have popped up from the ground. Looking forward to their blossoms. 😊
