I really love irises, and I find them often difficult to photograph, but you have such a feeling for flowers, these are beautiful.

You and Helen are too kind! The flowers and plants vary according to the season, and I usually take photos of them when they are at their best. Otherwise, the backyard looks quite ordinary.

Irises are such lovely flowers – I used to love drawing them as a teenager. These are great photos.

I haven’t for years. I did a few coloured pencil drawing decades ago. There was a lovey purple one in my father’s garden that I drew.

That particular tree has no apparent scent, but I don’t know about Viburnum in general.
