Yesterday our local temperature climbed to 80°F (26.67°C), the highest ever recorded for March 26th. Any snow still on the ground has already melted a few days earlier, and the crocus flowers wasted no time in coming up and bearing vibrant flowers. Here are some shots of those at the front of our driveway.

Crocuses are such fragile little things but they give a wonderful burst of colour!

They are fragile indeed. Today with colder temperatures in the forties, they do not look too well.

Ah yes, the tempertaure keep going down, up and then down again. I feel sorry for the new born lambs having to deal with frosts (as well as the crocuses).

80 degrees, wow. We will not see those temps for quite awhile. Love the crocuses and daffodils because they mean winter is over. Wonderful photos
