The Red Foxes lived for several years in the woods at the back of our house. Some of them would come out and help themselves to our Asian pears. However, I have not seen them for the past three years. I hope they are still around somewhere out there.
Again, all these are great shots. The first to stop my eyes was the night light on the bridge and ones got to love both the animal shots, and the dead tree with the striking blue background is a sweet shot too.
Thank you John! There was a Japanese TV crew filming that Bristlecone pine, for a commercial, I think. I had to wait for them to finish and move away from the tree before taking my own shot.
Seems you’ve been to some wondrous places this past decade. The Bixby Bridge shot really tells the story of that road clinging to the edge of the cliffs hanging over the ocean. Rather psychedelic in a way, too! 😉
Have you kept up with what’s happening in Big Sur? The highway has been shut down off and on for various reasons. Here’s a video of a very recent one: https://youtu.be/WeK-tsCjVv4
That road simply wants to go down to the ocean, much as the one here up north does! Keeps the road crews busy! 😏
I did not not know about this latest slide! At least there is still one-way traffic. Thank you for commenting. I hope that road up North and this Big Sur road will not be lost permanently.
It’s been pretty dodgy with the highway being shut down (sometimes both lanes, sometimes for extended times). What with all the fires they’ve had creating serious landslides from the denuded hills, it seems to be a fairly regular occurrence once the rains come. https://bigsurkate.blog is a good source for conditions down there (if you ever intend to head that way.)
Happy New Year again Mr. Hien 🙂
They are all stunning images, and I am happy to say that I do remember them from the years you posted them 🙂 The 2 baby foxes…pure joy and a delight to see.
I always thought the same as Dung about your working for National Geo! The little foxes (so cute!) and the night traffic (my kind of photo!!) are wonderful, Hien.

They spent almost a whole hour playing in the backyard, with their parents watching on, juts like humans do.
