They’re both excellent, and I’m surprised that I lean towards the B&W version, when I usually prefer flowers in color. However, you did such an amazing job with your composition and lighting that the B&W version really highlights the most important parts of the scene, and the background is less distracting, causing my eyes to linger on the flowers themselves.
Daisies lend themselves to black and white, but I still think I prefer the color version here, for the way the yellow-orange center grabs my attention, and something about the distant gray-blue sky is so nice.
Wow they’re both beautiful. Normally I love the black and white but I think I’d go with color on this – because I love the background! But believe me, it’s a tough choice!
