Our Christmas cactus is flowering and my son’s family, where we had thanksgiving, has the parent plant also in flower. Love the low maintenance and plentiful blooms.

Christmas Cactus needs low maintenance. Too much care, especially watering, will drown it for sure.

Beautiful! I’ve missed your flower images this fall as the weather has cooled, that gives me even more reason to look forward to spring knowing that they will return at the same time.

Thank you, Jerry! We went for several weeks with no flowers, but the Christmas Cactus came to the rescue, followed closely by the Amaryllis.

Lovely photos. How long do your Christmas Cactus stay in bloom?

Thanks Katelon. Christmas Cactus can bloom for several weeks, with a second crop of flowers sometimes, after the first one has wilted and fallen off.

Lucky you! Our new apartment doesn’t let flowers grow 😦 . We only have green plants and they do amazingly well 🙂 !

Green plants doing well is quite an accomplishment, and I am puzzled by your statement “doesn’t let flowers grow”!

Yes! Our new space is not flower friendly. Use to have a lot of jasmines in our previous apartment; now the same jasmine plants only have leaves – no more enticing aroma!
