Nice in flight captures. You know when I see shots like these of ducks, I think of things I see and wonder “Now has does that fly?” 🙂

This one landed like the famous Sully on the Hudson river ten years ago. 🙂

Thank you, Tim! The duck landed straight to where I was and the setting sun allowed those nice reflections.

Fantastic series, Hien. The first one captures the inelegance so well, and I enjoyed being there for the entire landing, reflections so clear. And I never tire of mallards, such a beautiful bird.

Thank you Jet! I could imagine that duck saying as it came to rest: “I am Sully!”

Very cool sequence Hien, love the reflections at the beginning. Interesting to see how the duck flattens their feet as landing gear. 😊

This duck flew in a curve around one end of the lake and landed probably 50 ft from where I was so that I could capture its landing gear!
